Terms of Service
Last updated 16 September 2026
These terms cover this website, the demo call, and any automation work Otutu AI carries out. Otutu AI is operated by Jesse Otutu. Contact: jesse@otutuai.com.
This website
The site describes a service. Nothing on it is an offer to form a contract, and nothing on it is legal, financial or compliance advice. We keep the information accurate and current, and we may change the pages at any time.
The demo call
- The demo shows a working system handling a call. It is not a guarantee that it will behave identically on your phone lines, with your accents, your call volume or your systems.
- Demo calls with the AI receptionist are recorded and transcribed. Please use made up customer details. See the privacy policy.
- Booking a call costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
Work we carry out
- Scope is agreed first. Every project is quoted in writing before work starts, covering what is built, how long it takes and what it costs.
- Your accounts, your systems. Automations are built inside accounts you own and control, for example your n8n, spreadsheet, CRM, calendar and phone number.
- Third party costs are yours. Software subscriptions, API credits, phone numbers, text messages and AI voice minutes are billed to your accounts by those providers, not by us.
- Access. You give us the access needed to build and test. You can remove it at any time, and we will hand over what has been built.
- Revisions and support are whatever the written quote says. They are not unlimited.
What an AI receptionist does not decide
An automated system collects information and follows the rules you set. It does not replace professional judgement. Dispatch decisions in an emergency, diagnosis, pricing and anything requiring a licence stay with your team. You are responsible for reviewing what the system captures before acting on it.
No guarantees of results
We do not promise a number of leads, bookings, answered calls or any level of revenue. Results depend on your market, your pricing, your team and how you use the system.
Your responsibilities
- Tell us accurately what your business does and what you need.
- Hold the rights to any content, data or accounts you ask us to use.
- Follow the rules that apply to you on call recording, AI disclosure and marketing messages. These vary by country and by US state. We will set the system to whatever you decide, and you confirm those rules with your own advisor.
Payment
Payment terms are set out in the written quote. Work starts once the agreed deposit or first payment clears.
Ownership
Once a project is paid for, the workflows, prompts and configuration built for you are yours to keep, change and run. We keep ownership of our general methods, templates and know how, which we reuse across projects.
Confidentiality
We keep your business information confidential and use it only to do the work. We will not name you as a client or publish anything about your project without your permission.
Liability
We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost business or missed calls, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the work concerned.
Ending the work
Either of us may end a project in writing. You pay for work completed up to that point, and we hand over what has been built.
Governing law
Otutu AI is a United States business. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the applicable laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts located in Texas, and both of us agree to those courts. If you are a consumer, this does not remove rights you have under your local law.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. The version in your signed quote is the one that applies to your project.
